About Me:

With the spirit and funk in her soul, Angie is now starting to wow audiences throughout the country. A native of Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from the University of Toledo, and now resides in Los Angeles. She recently danced for the opening act of singing artist, Mary J. Blige and performed for the televised N.A.A.C.P. Awards! Angie has worked with Brian Friedman and Nick Florez on a music video for Brittany Murphy. Her rhythmic style shined on the WB “Junior Achievement Awards” television show, and the stage productions of Dancer’s Unite 1 and 2. Her versatile energy can be seen on the independent short film “M-O-V-I-E”, directed by Phil Dornfeld (Scary Movie 3) shown at the Sundance Film Festival and the tap show “Sealed With a Kiss, ” presented by Mark Goodman. Currently, she is a principal member of Gregg Russell’s Tap Sounds Underground and the acting troupe, Open Window Entertainment. Angie travels throughout country teaching master classes and working for various companies, studios and organizations. She is featured in the live tap show, “7 Days Underground!” and can currently be seen in a commercial for Carvel Ice Cream. Angie most recently performed in New York at a benefit for African children entitled “Esther’s Aid.”

Hey Angela... My name is Nicci and I am the Director of Viva Dance Co. in Monroe, Michigan. We recently performed a few numbers while you were judging for VIP in Youngstown and I noticed that you are originally from Toledo, Ohio and wondered if you frequent home often? We are looking at having a studio workshop and possibly some choreography done over the summer and didn't know if you'd be at all interested. I am a memeber of "Dance Faces"... but new to using it, so hopefully you're better at it than I am, lol, and will be able to respond to this message!!! THANKS... look forward to hearing from you!

Hey Nicci!

Yes! I am home every couple of months. I'm actually planning on coming home in June or August (haven't decided yet). I can send you my resume and bio if you want to check it out. I do tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater (all ages and levels). I'm working on my summer schedule now so you have perfect timing! Let me know what dates work best for you and we can schedule something! Workshop and choreography sounds great! Just let me know what you need!
